Stitch Supply Co. helped me baste my quilt pieces and later that day I finished the actual quilting. Next up is cutting a LOT of binding strips, squaring up my quilt, and doing a combination of machine and hand stitching the binding on. I am hoping to finish it by the end of the month, but I've been saying that since November so we'll see if that actually happens or not. It's been a really fun project and I am thrilled to have made so much progress on it. I was initially so intimidated to begin a twin size quilt, but now that I am in the final stages it doesn't seem that daunting. It's amazing what you can do if you just jump right in and figure it out as you go. Although this will likely be my last big sewing project for a long time, I am already excited to make another big quilt for our next child when he/she moves into a big bed someday.
